Prof. Abhijith Seetharam

Abhijith Seetharam has over a decade of experience in business consulting, business analytics and project development. He comes from a quantitative background and has worked on several projects dealing with knowledge discovery systems (KDD), predictive analytics, quantitative approximations, operations risk management, financial hedging, business risk evaluation and energy projects feasibility assessment. Among his previous engagements are analytics projects for MBTA in Boston, BulkBarn in Mississauga/Aurora, ON and initiating senior management into the field of data science and its business applications. He is passionate about teaching and over the years has taught several full-credit and seminar courses as a visiting member of faculty. His teaching engagements include Durham College, ON, Haskayne School of Business, AB, SDM-IMD, Mysore and NLSIU, Bangalore. He has Masters Degrees in Applied Sciences, Business Management and a bachelors in Industrial Engineering. He also has to his credit Certificates of Excellence in project analysis and spreadsheet modeling.
