Balaji comes in with around 20 years of sales experience in the IT Industry. As VP of Sales for over a decade, he has run large inside sales teams for over a decade. He specializes in selling software projects and products to the Global Market on the phone without meeting people face to face. He also has International selling experience in US and UAE for close to 2 years.
Balaji founded a Sales Process Consulting and Digital Marketing Consulting firm (www.scovelo.com) in June 2013, and works with IT Services and Products Companies. He streamlines their Sales and Digital process, trains the teams and helps them achieve a Consistent Sales Engine.
Balaji runs (www.firstfewcustomers.com), a startup sales demystification portal. He interviews successful founders and publishes their Sales and Digital Marketing secrets on how they got their First Few Customers when they were startups. This has more than 160 interviews. He does this as a contribution to the startup ecosystem from a sales perspective.
Balaji is a regular speaker on startup selling and startup digital marketing on startup forums across India. He has done more than 100 workshops across Nasscom, TiE, NEN, e-cells/e-summits of IIMs and IITs and leading accelerators.
