Professor Fatima Barros is the dean of Catolica-Lisbon School of Business and Economics, one of the flagship business schools in Portugal, with over 8,000 alumni worldwide.

Professor Barros holds a PhD and an M.Sc. in Economics from the Universite Catholique de Louvain. She has done consulting work in the areas of telecommunication and the automotive industry. She was the Director of CATÓLICA-LISBON’s Research Center for the Automotive Sector. She coordinated various executive education programs in the fields of economic regulation and competition. Her research focuses on competition policy, economic regulation and incentive contracts.

CATÓLICA-LISBON is the first school in Portugal to receive the “triple crown” of accreditation (EQUIS, AMBA, AACSB). Also, it the first and only school to have introduced the name of Portugal into the Financial Times’ educational ranking.
